Everybody thought that part 1 was awesome, but going by the trailer, part 2 looks even better. The release of the film is a month away and fans are already finding it hard to wait.
Let’s have a look at the list of records that Bahubali 2 trailer broke!

It has also set a record collection of US$74 million before the release of the film through satellite and theatrical rights. The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on 28 April 2017. It will be the first Indian film to be released in 4K High Definition format (another record), requiring many of the Indian theaters to upgrade projectors.
Let’s keep our fingers crossed to see what the ‘conclusion’ will be to the question of the year, that is, ‘Why did Katappa Kill Bahubali?’
Nearly two years hence, after the release of Bahubali 1: The Beginning and the trailer release of Bahubali 2: The Conclusion, fans and foes all over the world are still busy speculating the reason behind the heart wrenching assassin of Bahubali by the hands of Kattappa. At the end of the SS Rajamouli directed magnum opus Baahubali first part, the most dramatic scene appeared. This ‘Et tu, Brute?’ situation has stirred up quite some jokes that are breaking the internet. There have been several conspiracy theories and speculations regarding the murder of Baahubali. Here are some of the craziest answers to the most asked question from 2015 till this day – Why did Kattappa kill Bahubali? Which was even more twisted than ‘Why did Snape kill Dumbledore?’
1. Kattappa killed Bahubali because he sent him Candy Crush Requests!
2. Kattappa killed Bahubali because he replied to Kattappa’s message after an hour with “K”. ‘KKK…..Kattappa!’ You see?
3. Kattappa killed Bahubali because Bahubali has kicked Kattappa from his clan in Clash Of Clans game.
4. Kattappa killed Bahubali so that Rajamouli could make the sequel, Bahubali 2.
5. Kattappa killed Bahubali because Bahubali said he liked Deepika, who is the daughter of Kattappa in Chennai Express.
6. Kattappa killed Bahubali because he was involved in the Vyapam scam.
The rumor mongers have been fanning certain canards too. One such latest is that the director S S Rajamouli has been thinking to have a surprise for Indian film viewers. So he is looking to cast Shahrukh in a special cameo in this flick. Any how an official confirmation is awaited from the director but the rumors are so strong. Other rumors state that action scenes will dominate the sequel. DiCaprio’s Oscar winning movie ’The Revenant’s influence will also be visible. Like the fight scenes in polar mountains and horse ride chasing. Also, Chiranjeevi will be giving the voice over for the telugu version, Rajinikanth for Tamil and MohanLal for Malayalam. Although Rajamouli recently tweeted, “Chiranjeevi garu giving voice over to Telugu is false news”.
From what the trailer showed there have been scenes which seem ‘inspired’ from Hollywood movies like a crowd of people trying to touch Bahubali as he walks by a la Superman in ‘Batman vs Superman -Dawn of Justice’ and in ‘Hercules’, the scene where Prabhas is shown standing under a shower of arrows hands outstretched. It has also been pointed out that the poster where Bahubali has climbed on to the trunk of an elephant is similar to the poster of Ong Bak 2.
So what are our expectations from Bahubali 2 trailer from Dharma Productions? At least the following five:
A young and more furious Anushka Shetty. For most cinema lovers, the biggest disappointment of Bahubali was a cameo of Anushka Shetty. She is a star but made a limited appearance in the first part. However, if one goes by the first trailer of the second instalment, she steals the show in the role of a younger Maharani Devasena.
Stunning visuals. When the first part was released it made a lot of news due to the stunning VFX. The second part is set to take the legacy ahead and going by the trailer it could be a masterpiece in the India cinema. Mahishmati kingdom looks more spectacular and the setting is perfect for a fantasy period drama.
Breathtaking fight sequences. It won’t be wrong to say that Bahubali 2 could be India’s mix of ‘The Gladiator’ and ‘300’. Some of the fight sequences in the trailer are breathtaking and one could expect a lot of whistles in the theatre. The music is also trendy and goes with the mood of the film.
Face off between Rana Daggubati and Prabhas. An action film is only as good as its villain. Rana Daggubati took on the Kalakeyas along with Mahendra Baahubali in style in the first part. In the second instalment of the film, he will not only taken on his brother but also his son Amarendra Baahubali in the final face-off making the film more interesting.
And of course, the answer to the most important question.
Finally, the fans will get an answer to this question on 28th April. There are these two scenes where at first Kattappa is seen stabbing Bahubali from behind and the other where Kattappa is shown kneeling and bowing to a visibly staggering Bahubali holding the same sword that was flung away at the time Kattappa fatally injures him. To the keen eyes of the movie buffs it is not difficult to gauge that Kattappa did kill Bahubali and while he sat there ‘dying’ it was Kattappa only who brings back his sword to him and asks him to probably forgive him (for doing his duty) or kill him in return or is explaining him the reason for such a betrayal.
Whatsoever been said and done, it is crystal clear that Bahubali 2 is going to leave its audience in sheer awe.
Good news for Bahubali fans in Phoenix: AZINDIA Media which has been in Media business for over ten years and has exhibited all successful films will again spearhead the premiere show of Bahubali 2 on the 28th of April in Arizona.
